About the Author

Frank Armstrong This web site has a dual purpose. The first is to provide a web site for production workers to learn how to use the 7 Basic Quality Tools on the production floor to improve their process and help eliminate defects. Most of the Quality Tools have to be administered on a computer and generally, with some specific computer software. With the methods that teaching here, all you need is paper and pencil; well, of course a computer and the Internet to access this site with. A printer helps so that you can print the blank forms I provide, however, it can be created even without downloading the forms.

The second purpose of this web site is that this is my final project for my Masters Degree in Information Systems Management, at Ferris State University.   My emphasis is in Quality Management, hence the reason for this web site and topic for my thesis. I have included my training and accomplishments below to offer credibility to the knowledge offered here.
